  • Dr. Afia Sarwar graduated  from Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore in the  year 2000 . After completing  her one year house job in Sir Ganga Ram hospital Lahore, she joined Ammar Medical Complex as a medical officer to further add on her clinical experience. In 2003 she joined Lahore medical and dental college as a demonstrator and during this period she passed her FCPS-I examination in the subject of Pathology. She joined King Edward Medical College in 2005 as a post graduate trainee in the department of Pathology keeping Histopathology her speciality. After completion of her training she worked for a period of six months as a senior demonstrator in Sharif Medical and Dental College Lahore. She joined CMH Lahore medical and dental college as a senior demonstrator in 2009.She passed her FCPS-II in the subject of Histopathology in 2013 and was promoted to Assistant professor. She has been continuously involved in undergraduate and  Post graduate teaching in addition to the diagnostic work.
