Department of Operative Dentistry
The department comprises of pre-clinical and clinical departments of restorative dentistry, crown and
bridge and endondontics. The department is equipped with 20 dental units, 20 pre-fabricated workstations
and a state-of-the-art pre-clinical phantom head laboratory. Phantom head laboratory is used to develop
psychomotor skills of the students on the mannequin before performing procedures on patients.

Prof. Shahid Mahmood is a graduate of de Montmorency College of Dentistry
Lahore, and did his post graduation from the University of Adelaide (Australia).
He has presented and published at National and International level; and has been
a recipient of International scholarship for outstanding merit.
Dr. Muhammad Nasir Saleem

Assistant Professor
He graduated from Nishtar Medical College, Multan. He was awarded a Gold Medal for standing first
in the Final Professional BDS Examination. He also received University Gold Medal for distinction in
Operative Dentistry. Dr. Nasir Saleem is actively involved in Continuing Education Programs and has
conducted and co-ordinated various workshops.
