Department of Paediatrics
This department was established in 1979. It Presently consists of four outpatient clinics, a vaccination
centre, a neonatal ICU, General wards, diarrhea ward, isolation ward and an acute care ward with central
oxygen supply. The department enjoys full accreditation and recognition for FCPS –Part II Training since
1998.
Its out Patient Department works five days a week, and has a proper vaccination center. Separate days for
growth monitoring, vaccination and well being clinic are allocated in addition to daily routine outdoor
treatment.
25 beds highly equipped neonatal
intensive care unit.
10 beds children intensive care unit.
85 beds Children ward with separate bays
for diarrhea, and isolation cases.
